Director of Nairana Study Centre
Sebastian James was appointed director of Nairana Study Centre in January 2025, after serving four years as director of Mirrabooka Study Centre.
After graduating from Sydney University with a degree in Social Sciences, Seb worked as a producer and reporter for Fox Sports, Seven News, ABC, Eternity News and Associated Press. Growing up in the Hills region of Sydney, Seb attended Nairana as a high school student, so he has an association with Nairana of over 20 years.
Seb is a keen sportsman who loves soccer, touch football and is handy at most sports. He has a contagious enthusiasm for life and optimism for the future of young Australians.
Amin Abboud,
Director of Frontier Club
Amin Abboud coordinates activities for boys in years 7 and 8 under the auspices of Frontier Club.
Amin is a student of Clinical Sciences at Macquarie University and intends to pursue a career in Medicine. Amin was a regular participant in Nairana programs during high school. In 2024, he returned to Nairana to assist with the supervision of year 7’s. He was appointed director of Frontier Club in January 2025.
