Year 7 & Year 8
The Details
Next year on January 22-25th, we will have our annual Summer Camp for boys in Year 7 and 8 (2025) at Wedderburn Christian Campsite. This camp will combine both boys from Mirrabooka and Nairana Study Centres.
The camp will offer the boys an opportunity to grow in teamwork, leadership, service and most importantly in their relationship with God. During the camp the boys will be split into 6 teams and they will compete in numerous games and activities to win the famous Summer Camp trophy.
Activities include; round robins, obstacle courses, treasure hunts, capture the flag and much more. In addition, the boys will partake in opportunities that will help them grow in their spiritual life. Each day will start with prayer and Mass, and there will be formational talks given as well.

How to
Register
Our camp applications are done through the Operoo platform. If you are new or do not have an Operoo account please fill out this Google Form. Please register your son before sending payment.
The cost for Year 7 and 8 camp is $300 (before Dec 10th) or $325 afterwards Payment can be made by cheque, cash or e-transfer.

What to bring
- A set of good clothes for Mass
- Warm jacket or jumper
- Plenty of sports clothes and a hat (enough for 4 days)
- Dark clothes (for night games)
- Swimming gear
- An old set of clothes
- Hat and sunnies
- Sleeping bag and pillow
- Sunblock
- Insect repellent
- Torch and Batteries
- Raincoat
- A couple of towels
- Toiletries
- Water bottle
- Deodorant
Boys are not allowed to bring mobile phones. If you need to contact your son please contact a counsellor.
