Nairana Study Centre is endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a deductible gift recipient (DGR). This means that Nairana is entitled to receive donations which are deductible from the donor’s income tax. These donations can only be applied for the purposes of capital or building expenses, such as repaying debt, building improvements, maintenance etc.
The current debt owed on Nairana’s facilities is approximately $1 million. Looking to the future, plans for Nairana Stage 2 are underway which will involve building additional study and recreational spaces for students and a new residential wing at a cost of at least $3 million.
