Year 9 Canberra Cultural Camp – Duke of Edinburgh Exploration

For the Adventurous Journeys component of the Duke of Edinburgh we have to make 2 adventurous journeys. For our first one (the practice expedition) we are planning a cultural trip to Canberra. We are going to immerse ourselves into the culture of our country, and what better place to go to do this than our capital city.

We will go to a number of different places, including:

  • The Australian Mint
  • The War Memorial
  • An Embassy Tour
  • Canberra Glassworks
  • National Museum of Australia
  • CSIRO Discovery Centre
  • Cockington Green
  • The AIS

We will also go Mountain Biking one day so bring a decent mountain bike and helmet! Check out some of the tracks here!
